REFERENCE FOR TARAS BELIA Taras worked on my Grade 2 listed cottage for several weeks doing extensive repair work , painting and some brick work . He proved to be extremely reliable , trustworthy , conscientious and punctual . His work is of a very high standard and he is very motivated , creative and organised . Despite the challenge of not being fluent in English Taras always ensured that he knew what needed to be done and managed admirably to purchase materials . Taras came to us via a friend’s recommendation and worked for us on a large single residential property.

Taras came in toward the end of the build and was employed on an hourly rate basis to build garden features such as various brick planters, a pond and a greenhouse.

The quality of Taras’s work was always good, with many of the features being of Irregular shape requiring considerable thought and accurate cutting etc. Whilst Taras may not be the quickest bricklayer we’ve used he was always punctual, helpful and unerringly polite.

We certainly wish Taras well both in the short term and longer term bearing in mind the dreadful situation in his homeland.
